In the past, we have successfully created dancewear for both men and women that not only look good, but also enhance the style and the movement of the wearer.

 

These products were made specifically for competition use. Modifications are always safe and secure however, they are intended and tailored for the needs of the individual who has provided information as to what they require from a dance shirt.

 

During the modification process, we offer a wide range of options to improve the look of your plain clothing; from simply adding some sparkle with a choice of strategically placed rhinestones; to changing the whole look by adding inserts and darts for the more fitted look.

This example opposite was darted, had rhinestones and gems added, the collar changed; shape and style, and a tassel attached to the underside of the sleeves. Again this was made and tailored to this particular individuals needs.

The owner of this shirt was very specific on the modification of this shirt. No darts were inserted, but instead opted for a glitter arrangement of swarovski rhinestones.

Together a design was decided upon, and the work began. Each rhinestone was individually hand placed and secured to the shirt. The buttons were removed and exchanged for a more aesthetically pleasing design. The combination resulted in a competition shirt to rival many on the dance floor.

The individual was happy to leave all design aspects to us. We added darts to make the shirt fitted, re-cut and shaped the collar, affixed rhinestones to an agreed display pattern, re-modelled and sculpted the shape and finally attached underwear to the bottom half to ensure the "Latin" look.  

These trousers were a different challenge, which we enjoyed. We were tasked with converting a pair of "ordinary" trousers into a "Latin Dance Pant" style. To accomplish this, the waistline was tightened and inserts were added to create an overall more flared shape to the leg and which ultimately showed off the excellent leg lines of the dancer. A material that was transparent and glittered was carefully selected to work with the existing material of the trouser.

This shirt has been both one of our greatest challenges and also one of our most inspirational achievements. This was not only on a very tight budget, very slim timescale but the work needed to transform it into a competition shirt, seemed impossible. However, we took the plunge.

She asked us to add rhinestones to compliment her shoes which in turn would finish off her entire outfit, and handed the shoes over to us.

                 We carefully selected a design that would suit the shoes without making them look “tacky”  We use only Swarovski crystals of the highest standard. The sparkle and shine from the stones created on the shoe a “spark” effect from the front cross pattern and heel.

                 The overall look with her dress was stunning and left us and our client extremely pleased with our successful shoe modification.

We always thought about the idea of modifying dance shoes, especially as mass production makes them very uninspiring and plain.

                 We were approached with this after the client saw a modification we did on a ladies belt!

The shoes alone were beautiful in style and colour, but the owner wanted them to stand out above the rest for an event she had in a few weeks.
